Accenture Brand Film

In 2025, Accenture went through a branding refresh to simplify design elements and build consistency in the way the company shows up to clients. As a top-20 most valuable global brand, there was a lot of responsibility to handle the changes and rollout with care.
I oversaw the development of the new motion and video guidelines, and also directed the production of the broader brand film. The goal of this film was to tell the story of the brand refresh and bring the guidelines to life in a way that excited viewers to learn more.
Working with graphic and motion designers, I led a team through the storyboard process and translating of over 100 pages of design, copy, and video guidelines into one digestible story.

To celebrate the pinnacle of innovation at Accenture, the V360 Awards were created to recognize the many facets of value creation offered to clients. This award program runs every year at Accenture and culminates in a live award show streamed around the world.
We designed a trophy to represent the 360-degree value Accenture delivers to its clients with a design process that involved several months of R&D to ensure flawless execution and sustainable production.
While the trophy served as the backbone of the visual language, over several years of the show, the campaign has evolved and updated along with Accenture's core brand.
Since the inception of the event, I have served as the Motion Design Lead: developing campaign assets from pre- to post-show, managing external vendors for asset production, leading teams through the annual updates, and overseeing the delivery of all assets needed for the run of show.
Accenture x NFL
Team: Accenture Experiences
Role: Motion Design Lead
Contributions: Creative development, Motion direction, Motion design, Vendor management
In 2024, Accenture became the Official Technology Sponsor of the NFL. As a part of this deal, we gained access to in-stadium ribbons at all of the international games, as well as a 30-second spot to air during NFL broadcasts.
The story and concepting of these spots was handled by Accenture's brand division, but my team was responsible for the design, animation, and delivery of the final assets. We had already developed a process to recreate this particle style used in Accenture's most recent campaign, Reinvented with Accenture, and used that to create the necessary shots for each story.
My team created storyboards, pitched them to Accenture leadership and NFL stakeholders, and then worked alongside NFL Films to get the final spots to air and in-stadium assets to the international teams. I learned a tremendous amount about broadcast delivery and NFL's brand standards throughout this project and enjoyed seeing the final ads play to an audience of millions each week.
Accenture Trends

Trends is an annual piece of thought leadership published by Accenture Song. In 2023, the theme was 'Control & Power' and focused on the emergence of new technologies like Gen AI.
Accenture Experiences' design team was responsible for the creation of the report, and, for the first time, all of the imagery was created using Midjourney and Dall-E, with text from the report itself serving as prompts. As the report was being developed, my team was approached to create a teaser video that could be released ahead of the report to drive interest and engagement.
I was responsible for the concept of this video: abstracting and showing the process of creating the images and assembling the report itself. This video was done at a very early stage of Gen AI tools, when video platforms were extremely limited. While we were able to screen record much of the prompting and touch-up process for the images themselves, we elected to create the video following a traditional production process. As each scene was finished, we would pass renderings through tools like Stable Diffusion and AI-based data moshing platforms to create abstracted results. These elements were then edited into the final video.
After the success of the teaser video, our team continued to work with social media teams to deliver additional campaign assets and deep dives. It remains the most successful Trends campaign at Accenture, with record engagement and downloads of the report. The project was ultimately submitted to Cannes Lions.
Sales Pursuits

During my time at Accenture, I have often supported our client-facing deal teams. These projects usually operate on compressed timelines and involve a fair bit of imagination to push the vision of our teams into a world familiar to clients. Accenture works with around 75% of the Fortune 500, and I have worked on closed deals with some of the largest brands in the world.
The type of deliverable for an RFP varies wildly, but this selection showcases a few of the most robust projects we delivered for Wendy's, Marriott, and Sprint.
On each of these projects, I worked with our internal team to concept and storyboard the video, partner with client teams to obtain and repurpose client assets, and provide on-set art direction with a focus on integrating motion into the final piece.
My name is Channing Williford.
I'm a creative lead and motion designer with a passion for working deep within brands to help them show up to their clients and customers.
For the past 5 years, I have been the Global Motion Lead for Accenture, filling this position under various banners within their Marketing department. Not only have I helped tell some of Accenture's most important stories over the past few years, I have also assembled and led a team of up to 20 motion designers across the world.
I love systems. Whether it's a design system to work in, an After Effects expression stack to develop, a review process to implement, or a Frame.io archival effort, I love to plan, create, enforce, and follow rules. Every brand has rules. The rules are often the most important part, mostly because breaking them is how you end up with the best work.
I love my family: wife, son, daughter, miniature dachshund, and long-haired cat. Not quite as much, I love peanut butter, rain, tennis, teen dramas, and when people hiccup in the middle of cussing.
I am always available for questions and opportunities. Please reach out.
